STANDARD CLEANING CHECKLIST

Kitchen 

• Scrub and clean sink and faucets 
• Clean exterior of all appliances (Dishwasher, Refrigerator, Microwave, Oven, Stovetop)
• Cabinet fronts spot cleaned
• Countertops and backsplash cleaned, items removed and replaced, if possible (uncluttered)
• Exterior of countertop appliances wiped clean, interior of microwave cleaned
• Furniture, mirrors, frames & accessories dusted & cleaned
• Dust baseboards, doorframes, ceiling fans (if reachable), and windowsills
• Clean the inside window above the sink, if applicable
• Kitchen table cleaned & organized 
• All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)
• Empty garbage, exterior of can wiped, bag replaced 
• Floor vacuumed and mopped
• Overall room appearance neat & tidy

Bathrooms 

• Clean & scrub shower & tub 
• Clean sink & backsplash
• Scrub, disinfect, and clean toilet (including base & behind)
• Clean and shine all faucets 
• Cabinet fronts spot cleaned
• Light fixtures dusted 
• Counters/Vanity top cleaned–items removed, wiped,  & replaced
• All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)
• Clean mirrors
• Dust vents and remove cobwebs
• Wipe clean towel bar & toilet paper holder
• Door molding dusted
• Windowsill dusted/wiped
• Change towels (if left out)
• Baseboards dusted and/or wiped clean
• Empty garbage, exterior of can wiped, bag replaced 
• Sweep or vacuum and mop the floor. Shake out rugs
• Overall room appearance neat & tidy

Bedrooms

• Bed made & changed (if linens are provided)
• Furniture, mirrors, frames & accessories dusted & cleaned
• All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)
• Wipe windowsills
• Dust all visible baseboards 
• Dust doorframes
• Remove all cobwebs
• Dust ceiling fans and AC Vents as needed (if reachable)
• Floors vacuumed and/or mopped (walk-in closet floors vacuumed, if clear)
• Empty garbage, exterior of can wiped, bag replaced
• Overall appearance neat & tidy

General Areas (Living, Halls, Office)

• All points of contact cleaned (light switches, doorknobs)
• Dust all visible baseboards 
• Dust doorframes
• Spot clean doors and doorframes 
• Wipe windowsills and window ledges
• Furniture, mirrors, frames & accessories dusted & cleaned
• Remove all cobwebs
• Dust ceiling fans and AC Vents as needed (if reachable)
• Vacuum or wipe couches/furniture (as appropriate). Fluff and straighten cushions and pillows
• Wipe interior of sliding glass doors 
• Wipe stairwell banisters
• Shake rugs outside before cleaning, when possible
• Vacuum all carpeted areas and stairways 
• Mop hard floor surfaces
• Laundry en suite wiped and floor mopped
• Remove all trash throughout the house
• Overall room appearance neat & tidy

• Wash windows inside, outside, and tracks, windowsills and frames
• Wash doors, frames, and banisters
• Wash AC and other vents in ceiling or wall
